"Freshness of the Site" works all the time for my low ranking websites. If getting at the top is difficult, try to create new original popular content for your site, and you might get to see improvement in search engine traffic.

Hi Marius,

That is not a simple question.

Your sub-pages could be ranking better than your home page for a number of reasons including:

- They have better optimised content
- They have more or higher quality incoming links
- How your internal linking structure is setup
- The keywords you are optimising for

These are just a few possible reasons but there are also many more.

Thanks,

Alex

You always have great articles, thank you.
Why is it that my sub pages rank better than my home page?
