@Singapore SEO Marketing Consultant,

I think $5 per month is a little off the mark. I could go get any IT service or SEO/SEM service I like, right this minute and for a much lesser charge than what it would be in Australia. However, search engine marketing requires a certain talent that is beyond a foreign freelancer. I do not engage any outsourcers and nor do I pay for SEO. I am only getting started in this business and still in my research stage but I have been doing so for over 12 months. Those looking for shortcuts and cheap deals will suffer the consequences. I would advise anyone looking for cut price service to weigh up the risks and benefits. There are plenty of ways that a lot of hard work can get thrown out the window by a very small and maybe innocent mistake.

Soon SEO will cost like what shared hosting cost US$5 per month or lesser. LOL

Many new SEO companies are mushrooming in India. They can offer much cheaper rate than the Americans or OZs. :(

Finally someone has given a guide for small business owners on how much they should be spending on SEO and also put it in context to the overall "online marketing" strategy.

I totally agree with talking to previous clients of a business too and not just go by promises made on websites!

Thanks again!
