I think there is so many reasons behind being able to dominate, not only in Google but we need to look at conversions.

For me as a fellow SEO, Web Developer I talk to my clients about usability and functionality.

Most importantly we talk about SEARCH ENGINE PREPARATION.

This is definitely a very good list.
I would also like to see some more specific advise on Google ranking and how to improve the ranking.
Key elements of google ranking are:
- number of links
- importance of the website that links to you
- importance of the related topic that links to you
and what else???
