Web Profits Helps “The Life You Can Save” Promote their 10th Anniversary Book

Web Profits donated services to non-profit organization whose mission it is to promote a culture of altruism and help end human poverty and suffering.

Sydney, Australia --- June 7, 2019 -- Web Profits, Australia’s largest independent digital growth consultancy, has announced that they are working with The Life You Can Save (TLYCS), a global non-profit foundation that believes it is all of our responsibility to reduce suffering and work toward eradicating poverty. The non-profit organization was founded by Peter Singer, who is widely recognized as one of the world's most influential contemporary philosophers. The goal of the organization is to advance the ideas in his book, “The Life You Can Save: Acting Now to End World Poverty”, which Bill and Melinda Gates described as "A persuasive and inspiring work that will change the way you think about philanthropy."

TLYCS is celebrating the 10th anniversary of this extraordinary book this year, and Web Profits is helping to spread the word through Web Profits for Purpose (WP4P), a corporate responsibility program. Proceeds from sales of the book will go to selected highly impactful not-for-profits.

TLYCS has stated that “For the first time in history, it is now within our reach to eradicate world poverty and the suffering it brings. Yet, around the world, a billion people struggle to live each day on less than many of us pay for bottled water that we don't even need. And though the number of deaths attributable to poverty worldwide has fallen dramatically in the past half-century, nearly 6.3 million children under five still die unnecessarily each year.”

“At Web Profits, we are always looking for a smarter and better’ way to do things, and that includes corporate giving,” Paul Sprokkreeff, Managing Director of Web Profits said. “TLYCS organisation places the focus on people in affluent nations to adopt a culture of giving and encourages us to look at the ways in which we can make a difference toward ending poverty. It’s an amazing company doing amazing work, globally.”

“WP4P is the collective effort of inspired Web Profits team members who together with the company donate their time and talents to amplify the messages of worthy philanthropic foundations. As Web Profits continues to grow, we are committed to donating more time and services to not-for-profits.” Sprokkeeff said.

Web Profits is working with TLYCS on the re-launch of the book on it's 10-year anniversary in November this year. The work will include web design, creative interactive advertising campaigns, and email marketing campaigns to drive awareness and encourage book sales and donations.

Other recent WP4P projects include the Platinum Foundation which is the philanthropic side of Platinum Electricians, an organisation of over 350 triple-certified electricians delivering superior quality and service. Platinum Foundation is focused on child sponsorship and development projects globally that make real impact to meet essential needs and bring generational change.
