To beat Australian Ethical’s goal, we knew that an omnichannel digital strategy would help achieve fast results. Between July 2015 to August 2017 we focussed on growth channels and prioritised ideas by testing, and then scaling, the most successful ones.

GROWTH CHANNELS - We wanted to validate whether Google and Facebook could become a growth channel for Australian Ethical because it's where you can target every Australian. We tested different messaging across different placements to identify where we could generate extraordinary performance - we then doubled down on what worked best.

MARKETING AUTOMATION - A key part of the digital strategy was setting up marketing automation to move people through different stages of the buying cycle (from initial engagement to transferring Super funds) as quickly and seamlessly as possible.

OPTIMISATION - To improve performance even further we focussed on optimising key campaign assets including landing pages, sales pages, upsell pages, referral pages and exit intent.
